See Henderson confrontation with Alisson Becker as Chelsea and Liverpool lose points once more

Liverpool players confronted each other during their game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on April 4th.

Team captain Jordan Henderson appeared to have a bone to pick with goalkeeper Alisson Becker and told him off in the full glare of the cameras.

The Brazilian custodian did not take being spoken down to lightly and equally responded with a few tough words of his own before the situation quickly simmered down.

Jurgen Klopp’s side made the trip to London looking to bounce back from the 4-1 humiliation at Manchester City over the weekend.

Chelsea, meanwhile, took to the game under a third different manager this season.

The hosts were the better side of the night, but like their past four encounters, it ended in a stalemate.

Henderson was livid with Liverpool’s defence after an error from Joel Matip nearly cost his side a goal.

Joao Felix blazed his
effort over the bar as a quick introspection on the Liverpool side ensued.

It is not clear why the England international was angry with Alisson despite Matip being the one culpable for the error.

The Reds will now welcome Arsenal this weekend in what is set to be a season-defining game for the Gunners.

Havertz’s disallowed goal
At the same time, Sports Brief reported that Chelsea fans were left incensed after Kai Havertz’s goal vs Liverpool on April 4th was chalked off for handball.

Havertz scored just before the hour mark. N’Golo Kante, who was making his first Chelsea start since August, laid off a wonderful through ball for the German, who failed to chip the ball over past an on-rushing Alisson Becker.

The ball, however, fell back kindly to him and it ricocheted into an empty net.

Frantic celebrations at Stamford Bridge were halted after replays showed that the ball was pushed in by Havertz’s arm.
