Morocco coach Walid Regragui has urged Sofyan Amrabat to play for a top club following his impressive performances at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 26-year-old played a key role in helping the Atlas Lions reach the semi-final of the tournament, becoming the first African country to achieve the feat.
Amrabat, who features for Serie A side Fiorentina has been linked with a move to several clubs including Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and other European clubs like Barcelona and Juventus.
“With all the respect due to Fiorentina, Amrabat should play for one of the top 10 clubs in the world,” Regragui said during an interview with Morocco’s TV Arryadia as quoted by DailyMail.
“Amallah and Ounahi will surely find better clubs and the same is true of Ziyech who proved what he can do. He should be a starter at Chelsea.”
Amrabat has made 18 appearances across all competitions for Fiorentina this season.
