Man City in advanced talks to sign Stade Rennais’ Jeremy Doku

Manchester City, the reigning champions of the English Premier League, are actively seeking to bolster their team by acquiring the promising Belgian forward Jeremy Doku.

The football club based in Manchester is said to be engaged in advanced negotiations with the French club Stade Rennais FC to secure the talents of this young attacker, who hails from Ghanaian heritage.

Aged 21, Jeremy Doku has been a part of the French Ligue 1 since 2020, when he made the transition from Belgian side RSC Anderlecht during his teenage years.

Despite contending with injuries, he has shown commendable growth in his skills and performance since joining Stade Rennais FC.

Doku is not only recognised as one of the swiftest players at his current club but also stands out in the entire French Ligue 1.

For Manchester City, Jeremy Doku has the potential to fill the void left by Riyad Mahrez, who has departed for Saudi Arabia.

The Manchester-based team is aiming to finalise this transfer swiftly, particularly with the English Premier League having commenced on August 11th.

The addition of Jeremy Doku to their roster will notably enhance Manchester City’s squad depth, a vital asset as they strive to uphold their English Premier League championship and contend for further honours throughout the season.
