West Ham midfielder Mohammed Kudus recently took to social media to praise Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur, calling him a “genius” in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday morning.
“Kwesi Arthur is a GENIUS! Damn,” the 24-year-old posted.
Not long after, the “Grind Day” hitmaker responded, calling Kudus “world best” and adding a diamond emoji to his reply.
Since his time in the Netherlands, the former Ajax star has shown consistent support for Ghanaian music, frequently sharing his love for homegrown sounds. Over the years, he’s filmed himself listening to songs by artists like M.anifest, Stonebwoy, and many others.
In October 2023, Stonebwoy visited the London Stadium to witness Kudus score his first Premier League goal for West Ham.
When Kudus joined West Ham in the summer of 2023 for £40 million, UK-based Ghanaian artist Guvna B featured in his announcement video, performing a rendition of his track “U Get Me” to welcome Kudus as the Hammers’ newest player.
