Kwabena Owusu’s 10th goal for Qarabag FK against Turan

Ghanaian striker Kwabena Owusu was on target for Qarabag FK in their 2-0 away win over Turan-Tovuz IK in the Azerbaijan Premier League.

The 25-year-old continued his impressive goal scoring form by scoring his 10th goal of the season to help his side cruise to a comfortable victory on match week 13.

The win sees Qarabag strengthen their league at the top of the league table to 39 points, five points above second- placed Sabah.

Qarabag took the lead in the 37th minute through an own goal scored by Vusal Masimov before Owusu doubled their lead in the 37th minute.

He lasted the entire duration of the game as Qarabag sealed their 13th league win of the season.

Owusu has made 26 appearances, scored 10 goals and provided three assists for Qarabag FK in all competitions so far this season.

Despite his impressive form, the forward was not named in Ghana’s 55-man provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
