Ghanaian football star Mohammed Kudus played a pivotal role for West Ham United on Monday night, aiding his team in a thrilling 4-2 victory over Brentford in the English Premier League.
Starting for his side in the Round 26 clash at the London Stadium, Kudus, known for his exploits with the Black Stars, showcased his talent throughout the game.
The scoring opened early on, with Jarrod Bowen finding the back of the net in the 5th minute, swiftly followed by another goal just two minutes later, courtesy of Bowen once again, doubling West Ham’s lead.
Brentford responded with determination, as Neal Maupey’s strike in the 13th minute narrowed the gap, showing their intent to level the playing field.
After the halftime interval, Mohammed Kudus played a crucial role in shifting the momentum back in West Ham’s favour, providing an assist to Jarrod Bowen’s hat-trick goal in the 63rd minute, reinstating the team’s comfortable lead.
Emerson Palmieri then added to West Ham’s tally with a stunning goal, further solidifying their dominance.
Despite Brentford’s Yoane Wissa finding the net again in the 82nd minute, it wasn’t enough to stage a comeback as West Ham held firm to secure the impressive 4-2 victory.
Following his impactful performance in the match, Mohammed Kudus now boasts six goals and two assists from 21 appearances for West Ham United.
