Jordan Ayew adjudged Crystal Palace’s player of the month

Crystal Palace’s forward, Jordan Ayew, has been honoured with the title of Player of the Month for August, owing to his exceptional performance at the start of the season.

Jordan Ayew has made a remarkable impact this season, contributing three assists in four games, including two in the Premier League and one in the EFL Cup.

His assists played a pivotal role in Crystal Palace’s early-season successes.

On the opening day of the Premier League, Ayew provided the crucial assist for Palace’s winning goal against Sheffield United. He also played a significant part in securing a draw against Brentford by delivering an assist.

In the EFL Cup, Ayew came off the bench and inspired Palace to stage a comeback from a goal down to triumph 4-2 against Plymouth.

He assisted Odsonne Edouard in scoring the equalising goal.

While Jordan Ayew hasn’t found the back of the net himself so far, his outstanding form has been instrumental for Palace in the initial stages of the season.

It’s worth noting that Ayew, a former Crystal Palace Player of the Season, is currently in his fifth season with the club, having initially joined on loan in 2018 before making a permanent transfer in 2019.
