Bradley Barcola has completed a permanent transfer to Paris Saint-Germain from Olympique Lyonnais, marking a significant move for the French striker.
Barcola has inked a five-year contract with Les Rouge et Bleu, extending his commitment to the club until 2028. He will don the number 29 jersey for his new team.
Hailing from Lyon, Barcola’s football journey commenced at AS Buers Villeurbanne in 2008, eventually leading him to join Olympique Lyonnais in 2010 at the age of eight.
Whether playing as a striker or a winger, Barcola steadily progressed through Lyon’s academy ranks, ultimately making his breakthrough into the club’s professional squad during the 2021-2022 season.
The young talent, also representing France at the U21 level, marked his debut with the OL first team against Sparta Prague in the UEFA Europa League group stage on November 4, 2021.
In that game, he made an impactful appearance as a substitute, earning recognition with an assist. Known for his versatility in playing across the entire front line, Barcola notched his maiden professional goal against FC Metz in the Coupe de France’s round of 64 on January 7, 2023.

The versatile forward became an established starter for Les Gones over the course of the 2022–2023 season, racking up five goals and nine assists in 26 Ligue 1 games.
His performances also paved the way for him to join up with France’s U21s, with whom he took part in this summer’s UEFA Under-21 Championship in Georgia and Romania, scoring two goals in four games.
“I’m really happy and proud to be joining such a great club. It’s a club with a lot of ambition, that plays in major competitions and I’m going to give it my all”, said Bradley Barcola.
