Israeli Premier League side Beitar Jerusalem FC has announced the signing of Ghanaian striker Patrick Twumasi during the current transfer window.
The 30-year-old forward joins Beitar Jerusalem on a permanent transfer following his tenure with Cypriot club Pafos FC.
Twumasi, who previously played for Astana, Alaves, and Hannover 96, will wear jersey number 27 and is anticipated to be a key player for the team in the 2024/25 season.
While the club revealed the signing, they chose not to disclose the specific details of the contract, though it is understood that Twumasi has agreed to a one-year deal.
“Welcome Patrick! The midfielder signed his contract at the club this morning and then received the number 27.” The club wrote on Facebook.
Last season, the Ghanaian attacker made 24 appearances for Pafos FC, scoring 3 goals and providing five assists across the period.
Noted for his experience across Europe, the Ghanaian attacker is expected to contribute immensely towards the success of the club in the upcoming season.
Twumasi has had stints with a hosts of clubs in Europe including, Deportivo Alaves, Hannover 96, FC Astana, and others.
He has managed 91 goals and provided 41 assists in 283 matches across Europe.
