Brighton and Hove Albion, a team in the English Premier League, have finalised the acquisition of Ghanaian talent Ibrahim Osman from FC Nordsjaelland.
According to The Athletic reporter David Ornstein, Brighton has paid a transfer fee of €19.5 million for the 19-year-old player.
Osman has successfully undergone medical examinations, but he will officially join the Seagulls in the summer.
“Brighton & Hove Albion reach a full agreement with Nordsjaelland to sign coveted attacker Ibrahim Osman. #FCNordsjaelland have accepted a bid worth about €19.5 million from #BHAFC. 19-year-old Ghanaian has completed medicals ahead of his summer move.”
Osman Ibrahim came close to sealing a transfer to West Ham United, but unfortunately, the deal fell through. There were reports of interest from Arsenal in the winger, with attempts to hijack the deal, but they couldn’t finalise it before the deadline day.
As a graduate of the Right to Dream academy, Osman is poised to become the latest talent to join the English Premier League, following in the footsteps of Mohammed Kudus and Simon Adingra.
So far this season, Osman has amassed goals and 5 assists in 24 appearances across all competitions for Nordjaelland.
