Yaw Dabo, a Ghanaian actor, has been making waves on social media after his appearance on the Spanish TV show Marca following Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League match against Manchester City.
Despite claiming to be 24 years old during the interview, the small-statured actor expressed his excitement about the 1-1 draw at Santiago Bernabeu and believes that Real Madrid will advance to the final.
In the match, Kevin De Bruyne’s 67th-minute goal canceled out Vinicius Jr’s first-half goal, resulting in a draw.
As the European champions head to England for the second leg, the tie remains evenly balanced.
In a video shared severally on social media, Dabo is seen analyzing the game, praising Real Madrid for cutting supplies to Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
Dabo is currently on an European tour and has already visited PSG, Borussia Dortmund and Ajax.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid will be hoping to get a positive result at the Etihad as they eye back-to-back Champions League final.
Pep Guardiola is also poised on winning the trophy that has eluded him since leaving Barcelona in 2012.
Kudus welcomes Dabo to Ajax
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian footballer Mohammed Kudus took time off to show actor Yaw Dabo around following his visit of the Netherlands.
Dabo has been in Europe since last week touring some big clubs as he monitors how these teams are run due to his involvement in the game.
The diminutive actor owns a soccer academy in Ghana and has taken the opportunity to establish relationship with some of these European clubs.
Yaw Dabo visits Dortmund
Ghanaian actor, Yaw Dabo continued his tour of Europe with a visit to German giants Borussia Dortmund.
The president of Dabo Soccer Academy spent time at the club’s training venue, where he was also given a tour of the club’s facilities by former Ghana coach Otto Addo.
Dabo met some of Dortmund’s stars, including English midfielder Jude Bellingham and teen sensation Youssoufa Moukoko.
