CAF Technical Director, Raul G and colleagues from all member Association have sent Former GFA Technical Director Oti Akenteng a good will message to show their appreciation for his commitment to Ghana and Africa football in general.
Long serving Ghana Football Association (GFA) Technical Director, Francis Samuel Oti Akenteng left his position following the expiration of his contract last March after 14years of service.

Very important contributions to decisions made over the years by FIFA and CAF. Instructor training coaches in the country and abroad. 14 years that we all appreciate and learn, but the best part is that you continue to be Senior Francis, consultant, advisor and the mentor, that I am sure will contribute even more to the development of football in Ghana and Africa. Other Technical Directors accross the continent like Sang Dong from Gambia,Wilson from Zimbabwe,Bitrus Bewrang from Nigeria,Lyson Zulu from Zambia,etc have all wished Oti well as the journey in his history continues.
GFA opted not to renew their allegiance with the former Accra Hearts of Oak head coach.
Last month, the FA announced for interested applicants to apply for the vacant position.
