The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has praised Medeama SC for dressing uniformly for their trip for the game against Al Ahly
CAF quoted a tweet from the club, saying “Medeama SC are all dressed up for their first #TotalEnergiesCAFCL game in Cairo”.
Medeama SC, the reigning Ghanaian champions, have arrived in Cairo, Egypt, in anticipation of their group stage encounter in the 2023/24 CAF Champions League against Al Ahly.
On Wednesday afternoon, the Yellow and Mauves, Medeama SC, departed from Ghana in preparation for their inaugural match in this competition scheduled for Saturday, November 25, 2023.
Head coach Evans Adotey and his team arrived in the Egyptian capital, sporting commendable customised suits that garnered praise on social media.
As they set foot in Cairo, Medeama SC is now focused on finalising their preparations and acclimating to the ambiance ahead of the upcoming clash with the formidable record holders of the CAF Champions League in just two days.
Despite a less-than-ideal start to the 2023–24 Ghana Premier League season, the first-time champions of Ghana will be aiming to ensure that their domestic performance does not adversely impact their campaign in the African competition.
