BREAKING NEWS: Ghana striker Jordan Ayew set to sign new two-year deal at Crystal Palace

Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew is set to sign a new two-year deal at Crystal Palace.

The 29-year-old will sign the deal before heading to the World Cup in Qatar with the Black Stars.

Jordan was expected to leave the club this summer but the head coach for the side, Patrick Vieira wants the striker to stay at the club.

The former Swansea City forward will sign a deal until 2024. He has been pivotal for the Eagles in the ongoing season.

Jordan has been deployed to play in different position by Vieira.

 

Jordan Ayew has so far made a total of 14 appearances for the club but he is yet to find the back of the net.

He is expected to feature against Newcastle United in the EFL Cup tonight.

The striker has been named in Ghana’s provisional squad for the Mundial in Qatar but he is expected to make the final 26-man squad for the tournament that is expected to be named on November 14 by Otto Addo, who is the head coach of the Black Stars.
