There are reports suggesting that Sadio Mane will leave Bayern Munich this summer and join Al-Nassr, where he would be reunited with Cristiano Ronaldo, according to a news outlet called Ariadhiah.
Allegedly, the two parties met on Thursday to discuss a potential deal.
Mane, who has had a challenging time adjusting to life in Germany after six successful years at Liverpool, is said to be considering the move.
However, the timing of this potential transfer is peculiar due to Al-Nassr currently being banned from registering any new players.
This ban stems from their failure to pay the promised fee for former Leicester striker Ahmed Musa.
Therefore, if Al-Nassr wants to secure the services of Mane or any other prominent player, they would need to resolve the issue with Musa’s fee first.
FIFA have confirmed the ban will be lifted “upon the settlement of the debts being confirmed by the creditors concerned.”
It seems discussions with the Saudi Arabian side will continue into the coming days but he’ll be remaining at Bayern Munich unless Al-Nassr‘s ban is lifted.
