Save Ghana Football demonstration has garnered significant support from prominent figures across the country following its announcement by notable media personalities.
Led by renowned journalists, the demonstration is scheduled to take place today, February 14, 2024.
This event will witness the participation of influential individuals joining Ghanaian football enthusiasts in a march to the Ghana Football Association, aiming to amplify their voices and address pressing issues.
The protest, aimed at shedding light on prevalent issues within Ghanaian football, was sparked by the disappointing performance of the Black Stars at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations. Ghana’s early exit from the tournament raised concerns regarding the country’s football decline, prompting criticism from sports journalists regarding football administration and management in Ghana.
Key figures involved in organising the demonstration include Countryman Songo, Dan Kwaku Yeboah, Veronica Commey, and Saddick Adams.
