Some things you cannot control – Partey on his injury issues since joining Arsenal

Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey has described his frequent injuries at Arsenal as one of life’s inexplicable occurrences.

Acknowledging that such situations are beyond his control, Partey emphasized that he is diligently working to improve his condition.

The Ghanaian player mentioned that he has adopted a resilient mindset, determined not to give up as he strives to manage his injury problems.

“I think that’s life. Things happen. Some things you cannot control. I have to keep going, keep fighting. Every time I fall, I have to come back, and that’s the mentality I have,” he said in a video shared by Arsenal reporter Connor Humm.

Thomas Partey’s tenure at Arsenal has been marred by a string of injuries, limiting his appearances more than anticipated.

In his first two seasons, Partey managed 24 Premier League games each, followed by 33 in his third. However, last season saw him participate in just 14 league matches.

Arsenal is reportedly considering selling the former Atletico Madrid player for a fee ranging from £20 to £25 million.

Although Saudi Arabian clubs have shown interest since last summer, Partey opted to remain with Arsenal, focusing on his final season with the club.
