Popular Nigerian singer-songwriter Chidinmma Ekile has explained why she decided to stop performing secular music.
Chidinmma, who quit secular music to return to her roots, gospel, in 2021, made this known in a video on her YouTube page on Wednesday, April 3.
According to the “Kedike” singer, despite her success after winning Project Fame in 2010, she felt empty.
She noted that the emptiness made her reconnect with her source (God).
“I was looking for my fulfillment, but I didn’t find it until I reconnected with my source,” she said.
