Famed Ghanaian dancehall star, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, caused a sensation at Akwaaba Village on December 25, 2023, during his visit for a Guinness World Record event.

Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, a noted female journalist and entrepreneur, is aiming for the longest singing marathon record, a challenge that began on December 24 and is set to conclude on December 27, 2023.

The event, held at Akwaaba Village in Accra, has become a focal point, attracting a mix of prominent figures and general public to support Asantewaa’s ambitious endeavor.

A highlight of the event was Shatta Wale and singer Eugene’s appearance on Sunday night, boosting morale and adding excitement.

The duo’s arrival, particularly Shatta Wale’s, sparked an emotional response from Asantewaa, leading to a memorable sing-along with his hits, much to the delight of the gathered fans.

The event has drawn attention from various public personalities, including Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and key members of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
