Saudi side, Al Ittihad not ready to back-down in their pursuit for Salah

Al Ittihad is reportedly
gearing up to present another offer in their pursuit of Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah before the Saudi transfer window closes this Thursday, according to Sky Sports.

Negotiations have apparently been ongoing at Al Ittihad since their 4-3 defeat against Al Hilal on Friday, with certain senior figures determined to make another bid.

Liverpool had previously rejected their initial £150 million proposal, and the Saudi club is now looking to sweeten the deal.

However, Liverpool have consistently asserted that they have no intention of parting ways with the 31-year-old, who demonstrated his prowess by scoring in Sunday’s 3-0 victory over Aston Villa.

The Reds have made it clear that Salah is not available for transfer at any price.

Some individuals within Al Ittihad’s leadership hierarchy are of the opinion that they should respect Liverpool’s decision and wait until next summer in the hope of a successful transfer.

It’s worth noting that Salah’s contract with Liverpool extends until 2025.
