Ghanaian actress and socialite Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo, has lauded Ghana’s celebrated rapper Sarkodie for his significant accomplishments in the music industry.
Efia Odo commended Sarkodie for his unparalleled success, highlighted by his numerous local and international awards, which she believes distinguishes him from his peers.
She emphasized that Sarkodie excels among African rappers, asserting that his performances are unmatched.
Efia Odo suggested that Nigerian musicians should focus on Afrobeat and other genres if they wish to compete with Ghanaian artists, as she feels Ghanaian rappers dominate the rap scene.
“No one can touch Sarkodie when it comes to rap and style. Nigerians should stick to Afrobeat,” she wrote on X.
Sarkodie has firmly established himself as one of the leading rappers globally, earning numerous accolades, including Ghana Music Awards and BET Awards.
