Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho, has launched scathing criticism against the party’s Communications Director, Sammy Gyamfi, accusing him of severely harming the reputation and electoral prospects of the party’s flagbearer, John Mahama.
In a social media post, Anyidoho condemned Gyamfi for what he perceives as actions detrimental to Mahama’s political campaign.
Without specifying details or presenting evidence, Anyidoho referenced a video showing Gyamfi and his wife spending time together, suggesting it as evidence of mismanagement and lavish spending of party funds.
“When I warned them about the signs, they sent their minions to insult me. JM and his family nurtured this individual who is now causing their downfall. This man has irreparably damaged JM’s already struggling campaign. I have no sympathy for JM. The true betrayers will soon be exposed,” Anyidoho wrote.
Sammy Gyamfi has faced allegations from some NDC members of misusing party funds allocated to the communications office.
A video circulating purportedly shows Gyamfi and his wife enjoying a luxurious trip to Miami, Florida, where they stayed at the prestigious Betsy Hotel South Beach, known for its lavish amenities and high-end services.
