Friday’s match between Al Nassr and Al Fateh ended in a 2-2 draw thanks to Cristiano Ronaldo’s first goal for the team.
At Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Sports City Stadium, the Portugal captain, who transferred to Saudi Arabia on a free transfer, scored his first goal with a late penalty.
Al Nassr, the top team in the Saudi Pro League, twice overcame deficits to earn a point away from home.
In his third game for his new team, Ronaldo came out strong to deny sixth-placed Al Fateh.
Happy to have scored my first goal in the Saudi league and great effort by whole team to achieve an important draw in a very difficult match! 💪🏼

The 37-year-old forward calmly converted his penalty kick in the 92nd minute before his teammate Talisca was dismissed in a dramatic finish after scoring Al Nassr’s first goal to offset Cristian Tello’s opener.
In a 5-4 friendly match with a Paris Saint-Germain team that featured Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe last month, Ronaldo scored twice for the Riyadh All-Stars.
