Brazilian forward Rodrygo has committed his future to Real Madrid by signing a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2028. This new agreement reportedly includes a release clause of one billion euros.
At just 22 years old, Rodrygo has already made a significant impact, scoring 39 goals in 179 appearances for Real Madrid and earning 18 caps for the Brazilian national team.
He initially joined La Liga’s Real Madrid at the age of 18, transferring from Brazilian club Santos.
During his tenure with Real Madrid, Rodrygo has contributed to the team’s success, securing two La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey, the UEFA Champions League, the European Super Cup, and the Club World Cup.
Additionally, he was a part of Brazil’s 2022 World Cup squad, making five appearances during the tournament in Qatar. His fellow international teammate, Vinicius Jr, also recently extended his contract with the club, committing to Real Madrid until 2027.
