A group of robbers who carried out a lethal assault on two cargo vehicles at Anyinamso No. 1 in the Ashanti Region are now the target of an extensive police manhunt.
Tragically, this incident led to the loss of one individual’s life.
In a bold and audacious act, the attackers managed to seize Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 2,000.00) and three mobile phones.
Their escape was facilitated by the timely spotting of a Police patrol team approaching the area. Swiftly disappearing into a nearby thicket, the robbers eluded the Police’s attempt to apprehend them.
The aftermath of this event has left the community in a state of shock and sorrow. The law enforcement agencies are unwavering in their commitment to ensure that those responsible for this crime are brought to justice.
The authorities have offered reassurance to the public, affirming their determination to exert every possible effort in locating and arresting the individuals behind this incident.
“We wish to assure the public that we will surely get the robbers arrested to face justice,” the Police said in a statement.
