The official announcement of this blessed arrival is eagerly anticipated.
This significant development follows the passing of Maurice Ampaw’s late wife, Mrs Evelyn Ampaw, in February 2021. Born in 1972, the 48-year-old Evelyn succumbed to a brief illness on February 18, 2021. The couple had shared 16 years of marriage and were blessed with a set of twins, a boy and a girl, who are now twelve years old.
Mrs. Evelyn Ampaw’s final funeral rites commenced on April 24, 2021, at her residence in Laterbiokoshie, Accra. The Max Dodu Memorial Presbyterian Church hosted her lying-in-state ceremony, and she was laid to rest at the Gbawe cemetery. Videos from the ceremony portrayed a grieving Lawyer Ampaw in a somber mood, with his twin daughter and son steadfastly by his side.
Despite the challenges, Maurice Ampaw found love again and tied the knot with a new companion from Offinso. The recent arrival of a second set of twins brings fresh joy and blessings to his life. The lawyer, known for his legal prowess, celebrated his 16th wedding anniversary with his late wife in 2020. In a poignant interview at that time, he shared the challenging journey that led to their union, revealing that he married Evelyn, his childhood friend, after 15 years of courtship.
