RB Leipzig has set a deadline for Manchester City’s pursuit of Josko Gvardiol to The Daily Mail.
The Bundesliga club is keen to have the deal concluded before the start of the Premier League season.
Despite ongoing negotiations for several months, the two clubs have not been able to reach an agreement on the potential fee for the Croatian star.
While personal terms have not been a problem, Manchester City has not yet met RB Leipzig’s €100 million demands for Gvardiol.
As a result, the Germans have set the start of the Premier League season as a deadline, as they want to settle their squad before the Bundesliga season kicks off.
