Renowned gospel musician Piesie Esther has shared her perspective on the distribution of condoms at fellow artist Nacee’s concert.

Piesie Esther expressed that she refrains from passing judgement on Nacee’s decision to distribute condoms at his gospel concert, acknowledging that individuals are entitled to their own opinions.

When asked about the possibility of incorporating condom sharing at her own concert in the future, Piesie Esther disclosed that she has not contemplated it yet and that such a decision would be challenging for her to make.

During an interview with Starr FM, Piesie Esther voiced concerns that the distribution of condoms at Nacee’s concert might inadvertently encourage fornication.

This perspective was shared during a conversation with the show’s host, Bola Ray.

Bola Ray: Nacee’s gospel concert, he will share condoms to those who will attend. Why is it wrong for him to do that, even though people say it is birth control so it shouldn’t be a big deal?

Piesie Esther: Okay, maybe that is Nacee but I don’t see it, or I cannot sit down here and say there is something wrong with it. However, it is Nacee who wants to do that and everybody has his or her opinion.

Bola Ray: Do you think it promotes fornication or casual sex?

Piesie Esther: It does in a way but then couples too also use it so maybe Nacee will share it for couples, not just anybody.

Bola Ray: He said it will be given to every attendee but why is it wrong for him to distribute condoms?

Piesie Esther: Actually I haven’t thought about doing that so maybe I need to have a thought about it before we can discuss it.

Bola Ray: Okay, that is fair.

Meanwhile, Nacee explained the rationale behind having a condom company as a sponsor for his inaugural concert, Kavod.

During an interview on Joy Prime’s ‘Prime Morning,’ Nacee emphasised that partnering with Total Family Health Organisation (TFHO), the maker of Ebony Condoms, as a sponsor would serve to enhance the promotion and profitability of their products.

He suggested that the proceeds generated could subsequently contribute to both employees and employers being able to fulfil their tithing commitments in church.
