Ghana FA Communications Director Henry Asante Twum says his outfit were not involved in the e-ticketing initiative by the National Sports Authority (NSA).
There have been low turnouts recorded at some stadia over the weekend in the Ghana Premier League.
A chunk of Ghanaians and football administrators has blamed the low attendance at the various stadia across the country to the e-ticking initiative by the NSA.
In an interview with Asempa FM, Henry Asante Twum disclosed the Ghana FA were not consulted by the NSA on the e-ticketing initiative.
He has therefore called on the NSA to more education on e-ticketing to enlighten football fanatics.
“I have even forgotten how to purchase ticket through E-Ticketing so how much more a fan of Kotoko who is a Yoghurt seller.
“The NSA should be doing more education on the E-Ticketing to help the fans.
“In terms of the publicity I believe it’s a shared responsibility but the one who brought the initiative must do more education”
Why is Professor Twumasi crying? He is crying because there is no money. Why are you crying? You have not done anything but you want money from gate proceeds.
“There was no consultation with the Ghana Football Association (GFA). Nothing of that sought.
“They tried to engage us at the start but they were not ready to negotiate. They brought it as take it or leave it. So there was no room to experiment, look at it, address the challenges and do this and do that”
