Investigative journalist Kwaku Annan has revealed startling information alleging that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is poised to swap out its National Security Coordinator, Mr. Edward Kweku Asomani, in favour of Lord Commey, according to a Class TV engagement with the media.
Annan asserts that this proposed change is solely for election purposes, stating, “I’m aware that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to make changes to its hierarchy. The NPP is set to change its National Security Coordinator from Mr. Edward Kweku Asomani to Lord Commey for election purposes only. This move is for the 2024 election purposes only.”
He further claims to be the sole bearer of this information and suggests that the NPP will officially announce the change soon unless there is a reversal.
While Annan describes the change as temporary, he hints at forthcoming revelations about Mr. Edward Kweku Asomani that he considers to be damning.
Lord Oblitey Commey is a Ghanaian administrator, entrepreneur and politician.
He is a member of the New Patriotic Party and the current Director of Operations at the Jubilee House, the official residence and office of the President of Ghana.
