Actor, Akwasi Boadi Akrobeto has said that he will no more take pictures with his fans due to fraudulent activities
He explained that there has been multiple incidents where his photos have been used to commit crimes.
In an interview with Dan Kwaku Yeboah, Akrobeto explained that a man used his photo to deceive a 16-year-old girl.
In an interview with Dan Kwaku Yeboah, Akrobeto revealed that one such incident involved a man who used a photo of himself with Akrobeto to deceive a 16-year-old girl.
The man presented the picture to gain the girl’s trust, which led to a sexual relationship and subsequently, pregnancy.
When the girl’s mother brought the photo to Akrobeto for identification, he realized he had never met the man.
“Someone used my picture to impregnate a 16-year-old girl. He met the girl in a car and showed her his pictures with me. The girl fell for his lies and slept with her. After impregnating her, the guy was nowhere to be found. Her mother came to me with the picture to ask if I knew the guy but he wasn’t someone who I recall I’ve ever met,” he narrated.
Akrobeto shared multiple other cases where his photos were exploited for harmful intentions.
Consequently, despite public opinion, he remains resolute in his choice to avoid taking pictures with fans or unfamiliar individuals.
