Nigerian singer Ugee Royalty performs Nacee’s Aseda at ‘Glorified’ concert

Nigerian singer Ugee Royalty delivered one of the most electrifying performances of the evening during the “Glorified” concert held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at the Victory Bible Church in Awoshie, Accra.

The concert, orchestrated by Perez Musik, the Songwriter of the Year awardee at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA), showcased stellar performances not only by Ugee Royalty but also by esteemed artists like Pastor Joe Beecham, Cindy Thompson, and other talented Ghanaian musicians.

 Ugee Royalty’s performance was a highlight of the night, and she left the audience in awe with her puissant vocals and energetic stage presence.

She performed the popular song “Aseda” by popular Ghanaian singer Nacee with such passion and conviction that it moved many audience members to tears. The crowd particularly enjoyed her rendition of this song.

Minister Ugee Royalty, a Nigerian, was able to deeply engage the Ghanaian audience with her music despite being of Nigerian descent.

Minister Ugee Royalty, real name Kalu Orieke Esther Ugee Royaltee, gained notoriety in 2022 when she triumphed in Season 2 of the De9ja Spirit Talent Hunt Competition. Among other incredible prizes, she took home a cash prize of 7 Million Naira.
