Ghanaian gospel artist Joyce Blessing has sparked discussions after being seen performing at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) campaign launch in Dansoman, Accra, on Monday, August 26, 2024.
Videos circulating on social media show her energizing the crowd of NPP supporters with her hit song “Victory.”
This comes just a month after she was on stage at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) campaign launch in Tamale on July 27, 2024, where many assumed her appearance signaled support for the NDC.
However, her latest performance has led to a different interpretation, with many suggesting that she’s simply doing her job.
Social media comments reflect this sentiment, with users defending her actions, saying, “She’s just working,” “People should stop criticizing them… They’re just doing their job,” “This season comes every four years. Ghanaians should let these artists do their business in peace,” and “They’re just doing their job.”
