After Israel said more than 300 drones and missiles launched at it from Iran, Iraq and Yemen, adding that the vast majority of them have been intercepted, Ghanaians have been reacting to a video that seeks to make mockery of Ghana’s arsenal.
A video of a Kantanka missile being worked on in a water body is being ridiculed. Some users say while detonable and sophisticated weapons are being used by Iran and Israel, much cannot be said about Ghana.
Some users have compared the Kantanka missile to a school project.
“”Looks like high school science experiment,” a user wrote.
Iran says it carried out the attack in response to an Israeli raid on the Iranian consulate in Syria on April 1 and says the matter can now “be deemed concluded”.
In Gaza, at least 19 Palestinians were killed and more than 200 wounded in six major Israeli attacks, while in the occupied West Bank, Israeli settlers continued attacks on Palestinians and their homes, wounding at least 19 people.
