The former Kumasi Metropolitan Chief Executive, Kojo Bonsu, is confident that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will emerge victorious in the 2024 election, regardless of the Electoral Commission’s decision not to expand the current limited voter registration exercise.
During his tour of various EC registration centers in the Ashanti region, Mr. Bonsu noted that many potential voters are facing challenges in participating in the registration process.
“I have traveled across the country. Situations have been calm, but the distance has been a problem. The EC should address the concerns of the people who continue to plead for an expansion. Many more people would have come if it were expanded,” he remarked.
While urging the Electoral Commission to broaden the registration’s coverage, he emphasized that the NDC is fully committed to winning the 2024 election through its own efforts.
“We should be able to expand it so that people can have access. We are winning 2024 anyway; we are wining positively,” he boasted.
