National Democratic Congress (NDC) will officially unveil its 2024 running mate, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, today at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium, University of Professional Studies (UPSA).
Former President John Dramani Mahama, the NDC’s flagbearer, will attend the event alongside members of the party’s Functional Executive Committee and Council of Elders.
The announcement was made by NDC’s National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, in a press statement issued on April 16.
“Also in attendance will be members of Parliament and an array of distinguished guests from the Diplomatic Corps, the Clergy, Nananom, Women Groups, academia, representatives of Civil Society Organisations, Labour Organizations, and Creative Arts, among others,” part of the statement read.
The party’s Communications Directorate has instructed invited guests to arrive before the start of the event at 4 pm.
They have also reminded all attendees, including guests and media personnel, to follow the guidelines provided at the event venue.
