NAPO’s recent apology shows he is not arrogant – Koku Anyidoho

Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho has lauded the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) running mate for the 2024 general election, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh (NAPO) over his recent apology.

According to Mr Anyidoho, arrogance tag on NAPO is contrary to his recent action as people in that category do not acknowledge their mistakes.

He added that NAPO must be vindicated as he has shown a sign of maturity and remorsefulness.

“God has His ways of making things beautiful in His time. I know that arrogant people DON’T accept their mistakes, let alone find humble space in their hearts to apologize. If Napo has been humble enough to apologize, he has proven that he is NOT arrogant. Brave men apologize💪🇬🇭,” he added.

NAPO had claimed that President Akufo-Addo’s achievements surpasses those of Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and other former presidents.

NAPO made these remarks during a ceremony in Kumasi, Ashanti Region to unveil him as the flagbearer of the NPP, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate in the upcoming December Polls.

He stated, “Since independence from 1957 till today, we’ve not had any president that has helped Ghana like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. I say from 1957 till today, you can bring your Kwame Nkrumah… no president who has protected Ghana and moved the country forward like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo”.
