Ghanaian actress, author, and movie producer Yvonne Nelson, along with her colleague Nana Ama Mcbrown, have sparked controversy by unfollowing each other on social media.
The rift emerged as Nana Ama Mcbrown celebrated her daughter’s fifth birthday by launching a Kids’ Lounge over the weekend.
The event saw the attendance of prominent figures such as Tracey Boakye, Aba Dope, Empress Gifty Adorye, Afronitaa, and other celebrities, who contributed to making the day special.
The Kids Lounge aims to provide children with a space for play, learning, hair braiding, haircuts, and pampering, allowing parents some respite while their children enjoy themselves.
However, Yvonne Nelson appeared to take issue with Mcbrown’s initiative. She chose to express her discontent on X (formerly known as Twitter) by throwing shade at Nana Ama Mcbrown.
She wrote; “……thema ideas all finish…. Do something today. Next month they will do the same.”
While she refrained from mentioning any names, some individuals inferred that she was alluding to Nana Ama Mcbrown, particularly upon discovering their mutual decision to unfollow each other.
