Father whose vehicle was struck by LilWin’s car in a tragic accident, Mr. Jacob Kofi Ampomah has clarified that his son was seated in the back seat, not the front, at the time of the collision.
Initially, critics, including LilWin’s Public Relations Officer, Okyeame Akwadaa Nyame, and broadcaster Nana Yaa Brefo, condemned Mr. Ampomah for allegedly allowing his son to sit in the front seat, violating safety regulations.
Expressing their concerns, they suggested that the father shared responsibility for the accident and cautioned against placing the blame solely on LilWin.
Nana Yaa Brefo questioned the decision to seat a three-year-old in the front, highlighting the importance of adhering to safety laws.
Mr. Ampomah refuted these claims, explaining that the impact of the crash propelled his son from the back to the front of the vehicle. “My son was seated in the back seat when the accident happened. When the accident happened, it threw him from the back to the front. I saw him lying in front of me,” he detailed in an interview with Pure TV.
