My mum’s death has made life meaningless for me – Wizkid tells fans

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, shares the pain of losing his mother, Dolapo Balogun, during his European tour in August 2023.

Opening up on social media, Wizkid expresses the profound emptiness he feels since her departure, declaring that life has become meaningless without her.

In a Wednesday Instagram post, the acclaimed Nigerian musician encourages his fans to seek solace in their connection with God.

He wrote; “Made idk days after I lost my mum. Life has been meaningless! But we dey. Sometimes you have to let everything go. Work with God.”
