Prominent backing vocalist known for her work with Yaw Sarpong‘s musical group, Maame Tiwaa recently revealed a startling revelation about her health struggles.
She shared that her illness began after she took on additional performances on behalf of Yaw Sarpong when he fell seriously ill.
This decision, made to support Sarpong financially, unfortunately led to her own health decline.
Tiwaa described experiencing severe symptoms such as mouth twisting, difficulty eating and speaking, and darkened lips.
Meanwhile, Yaw Sarpong, who had been battling a stroke, is reported to be recovering steadily.
In a recent development, vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia visited the musician and made a substantial donation of GH₵100,000, which sparked some controversy.
