My family and vision are my motivation – Kidi

Renowned Ghanaian artist Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi, has shared that his driving force in music is his personal vision and the support of his close-knit family.

In a recent interview on Ultimate FM’s Morning Swing, KiDi revealed that while there are times he lacks the motivation to perform, thinking about his son, mother, and family helps him push through.

“My vision for the future and the support from my family my son, my mom are what keep me going,” he said.

“On days when I’m not motivated to sing, reflecting on them gives me the strength to continue.”

KiDi also expressed his deep-seated fear of poverty, which he sees as a barrier to enjoying life and making a difference.

He noted, “My parents taught me that having fun is an important part of life. To live the life I envision with my loved ones and make a positive impact, financial stability is essential. Without it, I couldn’t enjoy life or contribute meaningfully to others.”

The interview was a lively event, hosted by comedian Ato Pagh, Events and Brands Manager Icon Nana Benyin Anumel, Baby Porsh, and SB on Kumasi’s popular radio show, ‘Ultimate Morning Swing.’
