A renowned radio personality and artist manager, King Hassan has stated his artist, Neena, will only use a mobile phone untill she wins an award at the Grammy or BET.
King Hassan made this claim on Facebook when another artist manager requested for her contact for a possible collaboration.
The drivetime host on Tamale-based Radio Justice came under massive public attack on his pronouncements by a cross section of other media personalities and record labels including producers and event organisers.
Speaking in an interview, King Hassan explained that, the decision was in the best interest of the artist (Neena) as she needs to spend more time in the studio and produce quality music.
“The entire management and Neena agreed to this as a measure to protect her against destruction so she could concentrate on the music and to achieve our target,” King Hassan stated.
According to him, the afropop singer currently has all her social media pages managed by her team.
He added “persons who wish to do business interms of collaboration or a feature are adrised to contact the numbers or email on her pages on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.”
Neena is a US-based Ghanaian Afrobeats/pop singer and a sterile technician.
The Survivor crooner has recently released another single dubbed “My Heart” and will release visuals of the song in the coming weeks.
