Pep Guardiola reportedly views Jamal Musiala as the natural successor to Kevin De Bruyne in the Manchester City squad, according to Diario Sport.
Kevin De Bruyne, at the age of 32, has been plagued by injuries, causing him to miss nearly the entire current season after being forced to leave the opening game.
There are growing concerns within City about his long-term fitness, despite him only missing 14 league games over the last two seasons.
A recent report suggested that Al Nassr might consider signing De Bruyne, potentially teaming him up with Cristiano Ronaldo.
De Bruyne’s contract with Manchester City is set to expire in the summer of 2025.
Jamal Musiala, a 20-year-old talent, is being viewed as a seamless replacement for De Bruyne in the City squad.
However, Bild suggests that Liverpool will also pose strong competition for his signature.
Musiala, a German international, previously played for Southampton and Chelsea at the youth level before joining Bayern Munich at the age of 16.
He is under contract until the summer of 2026.
