Miracle Films CEO defends Emelia Brobbey on theft case in UK

Miracle Films CEO Samuel Nyamekye has dismissed reports alleging that actress Emelia Brobbey stole in the UK eleven years ago.

In response to the resurfaced news about Emelia’s arrest in 2013, he stated that she did not steal the bracelet found in a baby trolley that day, calling the claims untrue.

Recently, concerns have emerged regarding Emelia’s past ordeal in the UK, with some individuals claiming she mistreated a friend who was innocently roped in the incident.

The theft case reportedly led to the wrongful arrest and deportation of Emelia’s innocent friend, Akua Agyeiwaa, who was jailed and sent back to Ghana.

Recently, family members and friends of Akua, still pained by the situation, took to social media to express their feelings of betrayal, alleging that Emelia abandoned her during her arrest.

But amidst the backlash, Samuel Nyamekye has come to Emelia’s defence, stating, “All the rumours circulating about Emelia Brobbey aren’t true.

This issue was brought to my attention long before it went viral.”

Akua’s family, while expressing their sentiments recently, recalled that during Emelia’s arrest in the UK, she provided the police with the address of her friend Akua, who she lived with at the time.

They said during a search of the residence, the police discovered that Akua did not have the proper documentation to remain in the UK, leading to her arrest and deportation.

But Samuel Nyamekye, who remains steadfast in defending Emelia Brobbey’s innocence against all the claims being made, stated,

“Emelia wasn’t even living with Akua when she went to London. She lived with Gloria. But because they were all friends, Akua usually passed by their end once in a while after work.

“It’s because Emelia was friends with Akua, and that’s why the incident rubbed off her,” he stated.

Regarding claims that Emelia’s “baby daddy” provided her with funds to compensate Akua, the Miracle Films CEO stated, “That’s not true. Her husband gave her the money, not her baby daddy.”
