Kofi Ofori, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ablekuma North, has highlighted recent developments in his constituency, specifically the opening of a KFC outlet and the construction of new fuel filling stations, as markers of progress.
In an interview on Atinka TV’s “Ablekuma North in Focus” program on August 22, 2024, Ofori discussed how these projects align with his administration’s broader plan to improve infrastructure and attract investors.
Ofori emphasized that the arrival of a KFC and the new filling stations are clear indicators of the area’s advancement.
He pointed out that not every part of Accra features such amenities, making their presence in Ablekuma North particularly notable.
“We previously lacked these amenities,” Ofori stated.
“However, with our ongoing development efforts, investors have started to take an interest in our area. The construction of these facilities reflects our progress and the improvements in local infrastructure, such as the newly upgraded roads.”
He added that, in the past, the establishment of a filling station might not have been viable due to poor road conditions, but with recent upgrades, such investments have become feasible and are contributing to the constituency’s development.
