It’s painful, but let’s allow God and time to take their course – McBrown on East Legon accident

Ghanaian actress Nana Ama McBrown has spoken on the recent fatal accident that occurred at East Legon involving the 16-year-old son of Pastor Salifu Amoako of Alive Chapel Ministries International.

Speaking on Onua Showtime on October 20, McBrown shared her condolences with the bereaved families praying for God’s strength in this time of their lives.

Acknowledging their pains, she admonished the parents of the late 12 year old girls to allow God and time take course in their healing from their trauma.

She noted that, “When I put myself in our father’s shoes, I can’t help but feel a deep sense of pity for him. No parent punishes their child simply for being stubborn. While I’m not here to defend him or anyone else, it’s clear that the loss of these young lives is incredibly painful.

Regardless of which family may have had more children, the real issue lies in the tragic circumstances that led to their deaths. This must be unimaginably traumatic for their parents. All I can say is that we must let time and God heal this pain, allowing them to find peace in the future.”

She shared her personal connection with the pastor, stating that he is like family to her. She also called on Ghanaians to keep him in their prayers during this difficult time.

“Bishop Salifu is like an uncle to me because he grew up in Kwadaso, and I saw him when he was starting his church. He is a very good man.

Even if you hate him, this is not the time for you to gloat. I also pray that God strengthens him because he is going through a lot,” she said.

Also, Rev. Obofour, Founder and Leader of Anointed Palace Chapel, has made a heartfelt plea to the families of the victims involved in the East Legon accident, urging them to extend forgiveness to Pastor Salifu Amoako.

In one of his sermons, Rev. Obofour emphasised that Pastor Salifu is a compassionate individual, deserving of empathy and understanding from the public.

He called for mercy, highlighting that Pastor Salifu is not a malicious person, and asked for Ghanaians to show leniency during this challenging time.
