Maid in Kuwait falls from seventh floor after employer deliberately failed to rescue her

In a shocking incident captured on video, an Ethiopian domestic worker fell from the seventh floor of a building in Kuwait. The maid, who survived the fall, asserted that she was “trying to escape from the woman who tried to kill me.”

The Kuwaiti employer, who recorded the incident, was reportedly detained.

The video shows the worker clinging to a window ledge, pleading for help, while her employer makes no effort to assist and casually comments, “Oh, crazy, come back.”

The footage was later shared on social media.

Miraculously, despite the terrifying fall, the maid managed to escape with relatively minor injuries, including a broken arm and bleeding from her nose and ears. The impact of the fall was softened by hitting a metal awning on the way down, as reported by the al-Seyassah newspaper.
