London’s subway system will almost completely stop running next week because the rail workers are going on a big strike.
Services will finish early on Sunday evening and there will be very few or no services from Monday to Thursday.
Many people who travel to work will need to find different ways to get there next Friday because public transportation will not start running until later than usual.
Final discussions between the RMT union and TfL broke down on Friday afternoon.
Union members are going on strike because they are not happy with a 5% pay raise offer and other problems.
A spokesperson for RMT said: “TfL didn’t stop the strike because they didn’t make a deal that our members on the London Underground were happy with. ”
TfL could not stop the strike because they did not offer a deal that the London Underground workers were happy with.
When will the London Underground shut down.
On Friday evening, some workers will leave, but it should not cause any problems with the services.
The Tube will have problems starting when the workers go on strike on Sunday evening. More workers will join the strike next week, which will cause more disruptions to the network.

From Monday, January 8 to Thursday, January 11, there will be big problems with the Tube and hardly any trains will be running.
Tube services will start late on Friday, January 12. They should be back to normal by 12pm.

He said: “TfL’s decision to not bring back staff travel benefits and have two different levels of workers is not okay. ”
