Liverpool faces a significant decision regarding the future of Mohamed Salah as Saudi Arabian giants Al Ittihad express their interest.
According to the Daily Express, Al Ittihad submitted a £150 million offer for the 31-year-old last Friday, but reports from Sky suggest that they are preparing an increased bid of £200 million as the Saudi transfer window’s September 7 deadline approaches.
After Liverpool’s 3-0 victory over Aston Villa, during which Salah scored his 188th goal for the club, manager Jurgen Klopp expressed confidence that the Egyptian forward would continue to stay at Anfield.
However, behind the scenes, the club is considering PSV Eindhoven winger Johan Bakayoko as a potential replacement.
The 20-year-old Belgian international had offers from Burnley and Brentford rejected during the summer transfer window, but PSV might be open to letting him go in January for a fee of around £45 million.
